Only an hour till part three of Extreme 4×4 Bobbed Deuce Finale Series Special airs on Spike TV.
I’ll post a summary after the show. I don’t watch much TV but I’m really looking forward to this episode.
I’ll have a link up to the video as soon as they have it post on Powerblock TV.
Here it is: Extreme 4×4 – Bobbed Deuce Part III
Ian Johnson and the crew paint, build custom stacks and test the Bobbed Deuce Offroad.
$5000 total invested into the project although I’m sure it would cost you and I a bit more to build one because we would need to buy a lot of oversized tools and don’t have all the scrap materials lying around the shop that they have easy access to on Extreme 4×4.
Custom bed to haul the 4×4 Suzuki Samaria. 4 link rear end with air ride suspension.
Ian used Dupli-color paint shop pro, ready to go paint and a cheap (Wagner type) electric paint sprayer.
Black – silver – white “Snow Camouflage”
Paint – $175. Sprayer – about $80
Total on the paint job? $250
Built custom exhaust stacks to get fumes up above the roof using 4″ pipe.
M35A2 uses 24 volt power system with two 12 volt batteries run in series.
Ctek battery system allows the 24 volt system to shoot 12 volt power to 12 volt accessories.
Installed a Boyce Equipment M35A2 Hard Top and covered it with bedliner.
Nick-named “General Granite” The Bobbed Deuce performs admirably offroad but the trails they took it on were not quite wide enough for the truck.
